Flying Scotsman Flies

A long awaited day finally came.

The Flying Scotsman had been fully restored to its original pristine glory. I work in Peteborough and got to hear of this of on the Radio.

The Flying Scotsman was travelling down to Kings Cross to pick up her 'train' for the inaugural tour with paying customers the following day.

These were taken as she stopped at Peterborough for a 'Photo Opportunity'.
